What do I need to start the website design process? TOP
- You must own your domain name and be signed up on an approved webhost. I currently work with Shoppe Pro, Pappashop, Merchant Moms and Create A Shoppe.
- You must have willingness and time to dedicate to learning to run your own site! When you make a purchase with Sprinkles on Top, you are only purchasing the design. I do not add any images, content, verbage or products to your website. But never fear! My approved webhosts are extremely user-friendly and require no HTML knowledge. If you can check your email, you can operate your website. All it requires is your time!
How long does it take for a OOAK Design to be installed? TOP
- The normal wait time is 7 days after purchase, receipt of the questionnaire with applicable passwords and user information.
Why can't we talk on the phone about my design? TOP
- Sprinkles On Top realizes that talking to a designer by telephone can be more comfortable for some clients, however, we do ask that all correspondence be made "in writing" via email. This is to ensure proper communication between Sprinkles On Top and it's client and allows us to reference your requests during the design process. This process allows for Sprinkles on Top's client protection, as well, in order to review what requests have been made.
Why are there no refunds issued? TOP
- Payment for any design includes the designers time. Unfortunately this doesn't allow for any refunds or exchanges. But rest assured, Sprinkles On Top wants satisfied clients! Should you find that you are not happy with your design's elements, please communicate your concerns and Sprinkles On Top will make every reasonable attempt to work with you! I want happy clients and I want your design to reflect your tastes and interests!
Can I add different graphics to OOAK designs? TOP
- Yes! Extra fees will be incurred, and will depend upon the specific request. Before purchase, please contact me with a detailed description of your desired alteration. Not all requests can be accommodated, but I will do my best!
How long is the Custom Design process? TOP

The key to a quick turnaround on any custom design work is quick correspondence and detailed communication between Sprinkles On Top and it's current client. Other factors must be taken into consideration such as, the amount of detail involved in the design, the number of graphics and revisions (you purchase up to four revisions with your design package).

Typically, a custom design takes approximately 7 days after you are scheduled to begin. Your prompt attention is required to meet this speedy deadline. This means you must check your email daily during this process. You will find this turnaround time extremely fast compared to other designers.
What comes with a Custom Website Design? TOP

When you purchase your design, it includes the following: a header design, up to 8 sidebar images, an "Add to Cart" button, background graphics and installation!
It does not include the following: a splash page, category titles and headers, additional page buttons or links (other than the eight included in the package). These graphics can be added for an additional fee.
How long is your waiting list for custom designs? TOP
- The normal waiting list for any new custom design work is about one week. Please email me for a more accurate time frame.
Do you print my business cards? TOP
- The purchase of any design is just the purchase of the digital design. No hard copy is printed and nothing will be shipped. This applies to business cards, letter heads, logos, stationary etc. It is the client's reponsibility to upload or take the designs to the printing service of your choice.
Can I change my blog or website but still keep my logo? TOP
- We all get tired of the same old design after a while. I encourage you to swap out designs and update as you see fit. However, I have a strict policy about the re-use of my designs. You may not re-use or alter designs without my permssion. If you choose to change one element of the design (ie. background, but use the same banner), you must email me for permission before re-posting a banner, background or graphic element. If you have purchased a logo design from me, you are free to use your logo on printed elements as you see fit. Any posting of graphics on the web, must have a credit to Sprinkles On Top. Posting of altered graphics or designs is prohibited by copyright. Thanks for your understanding!
Why does my website/blog look different on other browsers? TOP
- Outdated browsers do not parse with all software. If you are using Internet Explorer and have not updated to IE7 or higher you are utilizing a highly problematic browser. I strongly recommend updating it or switching to Firefox. Firefox is faster, more secure and has more options to personalize. There are many free browsers out there that you can download, but the key is in updating them when they show an update is available. My designs are tested on only the newest browsers.
